I have a fan on my camera as well. However I noticed when it hit 40C the overheat sign did not come up. I have seen improvements however I have only tested once outside.

I think the UV part wasn't a fair example because the clouds hinder its effectiveness. It would have been nice to test it in an environment, such as when the sun is out and cloud-free sky to make a demonstration! But this was a excellent video! Have this in my favorites for reference and research!

IDK? I can set up my Gitzo G1325 tripod, place my Sachtler FSB-8 on it, place my a6700 camera and SEL200600G lens on-board. Then, balance the rig and start shooting in 3 minutes. This is all done at a leisurely pace. If I were hurrying, it would be faster. So, 5 minutes is kinda long.

Thanks for this useful tutorial as a new A6700 owner. I have a question - is there any way to determine exactly how far the camera refocusses for each of the step settings 1 to 10? For example, I have been using the Photopills Macro Calculator to calculate exactly what I need to do if for example I want to photograph a flower and ensure sharpness from front to back. The calculator gives me excellent results in conjunction with my macro rail. If I want to shoot a flower with my macro lens using focus bracketing, how would I determine which step setting to use, and how many steps. It seems a bit hit and miss with the A6700. Any ideas? I notice you’re using the smallrig cage, I’m trying to attach mine just using the cage, not attach the extra plate, but it slides in the wrong way to the head and I can’t see a way to change the orientation. Did you have to attach the plate to your cage?

I’m using the small rig cage which slides into the tripod head the wrong direction, can I switch the orientation of the arca plate somehow?

I think Godox should've went the extra mile and made it weather resistant. I bought it because it has no vents and gonna test it under light rain if I had too. If it gets busted then no worries, or I would just use my Sony Xperia 1v which is also a recorder when raining.

Good quality product! Bought the AF 56 and AF 35 for photos no problem for video the autofocus is a bit slow but usable. I would not recommend it for client work. I am more confident with my SONY lenses in autofocus performance.

I"ve been using a Sony a7R3, which I love. I decided on a whim to buy the a6700 when my a7 had to be repaired. Even tho I'll have it back in time for my upcoming trip (which I didn't think would happen), I'm really intrigued by this little camera. Your videos are super clear and helpful. Thank you.

A4 looks so soothing and natural af, A3 looks a bit boosted colors but looks good too, my pick will be the A4 for sure

well ok... if you only want to use the stabilisation software of the action cam and no post processing then all seen here is correct. But for me.. if you want best video ... set your cam to resolution and view angle so that it is recording gyro data, use ND Filter if you want to have this motion blur and set shutter speed to 2* of FPS... then record... and post processing -> use Gyroflow for example to stabilize all later -> like that I have motion blur and stable video. If your cam is able to record 10bit material -> then I would maybe try this before buying ND filters . Record 10bit and use post processing with for example "da Vinci" to add for example motion blur, edit your video to the end product you want... or use easily a "LUT" to get some great results out of it, without using ND filters

Hey. Great video . I have a FX30 with a sigma 18-50 f2.8 . I shoot documentary films. I needed a telephoto apsc lens for filming the far away subjects. In your opinion will it be a good pair with the fx30 for documentary films ? Its around 1000dollars..so im thinking a lot before going for it ? Should i ?

does a 870evo or 860 evo have enough write speed for 8k ProRes recording?

It would have been more useful to tell us how the lens performs wide open. You can't review a portrait lens without showing any sample photos at widest aperture.
